More than 30 years have passed since the first Paris grinder saw the light of day, a grinder that became the hallmark and flagship of Peugeot for many years. This 40 cm high salt mill is traditionally made of beech wood. A pepper mill is also available.

The40 cm highbeechwood grinder will be the icing on the cake on your kitchen table. After unscrewing the crown and removing the top, you can easily fill it . When grinding, just turn the top of the grinder clockwise. The grinding mechanism is made of 18/10 stainless steel specifically treated for greater resistance to corrosion and wear and therefore for long-lasting sharpness. You can easily adjust your own grinding coarseness thanks to the patented u'Select technology, by choosing from a total of 6 preset options, from the coarsest to the finestgrind.
How does the u´Select grinding system work?
Pepper grinder: the grinding mechanism is spiral-shaped and has a double row of teeth that guide and hold the peppercorns to guarantee a perfect grind. We recommend using dried peppercorns with a diameter of 6 mm or less, and white, black or green peppercorns. Mixtures of coloured peppercorns should not contain more than 15% red (pink) peppercorns. Can also be used to grind dried coriander. Salt grinder: the grinding mechanism for salt is designed to grind coarse dry salt - both sea and rock salt. Ideally with crystals of 4 mm or less in diameter.
