Catalytic lamps
Catalytic or Berger lamps, invented by a French pharmacist, were used in French hospitals at the end of the 19th century. They were supposed to purify the air and destroy pathological microorganisms thanks to the ozone produced by catalytic decomposition. This is supposed to be the main advantage of this lamp over similar products today.
