They are ideal for boiling, stewing or baking in the oven. You can even try baking bread in them - there are no limits to creativity. Simply place the dough in a pot that has been preheated to the maximum temperature in the oven (up to 200°C for pots with glass lids). The pots are also ideal for serving food as they keep food warm for a very long time.

Skeppshult pots - care
Skeppshult pots should be rinsed briefly with hot water before first use. After each use, clean them with lukewarm water and dry them thoroughly. Resistant food residues can be removed with a sponge. The use of detergent is not recommended as it damages the fat layer, which is important for the special baking properties. Never put Skeppshult pots in the dishwasher, the cast iron will rust. Skeppshult pots are not suitable for storing food.
