How to use the grinders?

The grinders are beautiful to look at and practical to use. After unscrewing the crown and removing the top, the grinders are easy to fill. Tightening or loosening the crown then controls the grinding coarseness setting. To start the grinding mechanism, turn the top of the grinder clockwise. Clean the grinders with a soft, dry cloth and protect from excessive heat.

Pepper grinder: the grinding mechanism is spiral-shaped and has a double row of teeth that guide and hold the peppercorns to guarantee a perfect grind. The grinder is not designed to grind salt.

Salt grinder: the grinding mechanism for salt is designed to grind coarse, dry rock salt, ideally with crystals of 4 mm or less in diameter. This grinder is not designed to grind pepper.

Peugeot grinders = precision handmade, French tradition, lifetime warranty

Peugeot grinders are not just ordinary goods. Since 1810, they have been a symbol of the traditional French passion for gastronomy and the art of enjoying life. Peugeot was making its spice grinders even before it started making cars.

Its grinders have an elegant design and ergonomic workmanship that ensures they fit perfectly in your hand. They are popular with people all over the world. In addition, they use wood grown according to the concept of sustainability, which comes from trees grown in France.

The bodies of the grinders and the grinding mechanisms of Peugeot are manufactured exclusively in Peugeot's own facilities in France and the final product is assembled by hand. Each one therefore carries within it the priceless touch of the human hand that distinguishes Peugeot mills from cheapChinese products, made on automatic lines, literally without human intervention. After assembly, Peugeot inspectors still check the functionality of the individual parts of the mill and then its flawless functioning.

More than 200 years of history

Peugeot is part of an emblematic French brand firmly anchored in the public consciousness. Its adventure began in the 19th century when brothers Jean Pierre and Jean Frédéric Peugeot converted an inherited mill into a steel foundry and began producing steel ribbons and springs for multiple uses. Over time, they expanded their production and began to manufacture, for example, sharp saws, crinolines and high wheels. The first coffee grinders were produced as early as 1840. The many inventions and innovations in the culinary world have always put the Peugeot brand at the top. Today, its table grinders are present on the tables of all great chefs across continents and even wine lovers enjoy their wine range.
