Nordic Ware 'sDollar frying pan has been made from cast aluminium with a non-stick surface that prevents the fritters from sticking during frying. Its handle has been made of heat-resistant plastic, does not get hot and its ergonomic shape makes it comfortable to grip. The pan is also easy to maintain and clean. The fritters can be flavoured with jam, topped with honey or maple syrup or sprinkled with sugar and cinnamon. The recipe for the fritters (in English) is included in the package.

Maintenance instructions
- Hand wash with warm soapy water before first use and after each subsequent use.
- Use a soft brush to remove stubborn dough deposits, do not use a wire brush.
- Use wooden or silicone tools for turning, never metal.
- Before each use, preheat the pan over low heat and brush with vegetable oil or clarified butter.
- Allow approximately 2 tablespoons of batter for each fritter. Fry until the edges are browned, then flip.
The American brand Nordic Ware began its history in 1946 when David Dalquist, a metallurgical engineer with Swedish roots, founded the company with his wife Dorothy. It didn't come to the attention of customers until 1950, when a group of housewives visited David and asked him to create the classic cake mold they knew from their European homelands. David granted their request and created the world famous Bundt, the patented name for the bundt cake mould. The next twist came in 1966. A prestigious baking competition (the Pillsbury Bake-Off) was held in Houston, USA, where contestant Ella Helfrich placed 2nd. With a Nordic Ware mould with a hole in the middle, she baked the now iconic Fudge Tunnel recipe, which guaranteed fame not only for her but also for the Nordic Ware brand, which became an overnight hit.
