The stainless steel steaming insert is the ideal accessory for Staub round cast iron pots with a diameter of 26 cm. Thanks to steam cooking, you can quickly and above all gently steam vegetables, fish and other delicate foods. Steam cooking is gentler on the food, retaining more vitamins and minerals that would be released into the water during conventional cooking.
The stainless steel steamer is designed for round pots with a diameter of 26 cm, it is fitted with a silicone seal around the perimeter so that the steam does not leave the pot but stays inside. Different sized holes are placed on the bottom to ensure that the steam penetrates the food really evenly.
