Ken Hom Excellence bamboo steaming bowls with lid, diameter 20 cm

Traditional strainers, made of natural bamboo, are ideal for cooking a wide range of ingredients in one of the healthiest possible ways, by steaming. Their shape and diameter make them suitable for use with all Ken Hom woks, but they work equally well with a range of other pans. The two-tier design allows you to cook multiple ingredients at once. The stackable design also means you can cook different ingredients at different times on the same wok,
the grated base of each steaming pan allows the steam to penetrate and circulate all the way to the the very top of the steamer, ensuring perfect cooking of all dishes with minimal loss of nutrients. The bamboo steamer can also be used for direct serving at the table, the lid can be easily removed at any time thanks to the loop.

Ken Hom wok = world leader for authentic Chinese and Asian cooking

Ken Hom Excellence bamboo steaming bowls are the perfect solution for healthy preparation of complete meals and for 4 people, without water or oil. Simply fill the wok with boiling water until it almost reaches the level of the bottom cup, place itthe food directly into the steamer bowls or line them with baking paper first and then place the food, cover the lid. Fill the bottom bowl with ingredients that will take longer to cook. Check the wok periodically to make sure it is not cooking dry. The slatted base of each layer allows steam to penetrate and circulate to the very top, ensuring food cooks perfectly with minimal loss of nutrients. The stackable design allows you to use both or just one basket at a time, depending on what and how much you want to steam.

Ken Hom - combining Swiss precision and quality with the charm of Asian cuisine

The first pan called Ken Hom Hot Wok was launched in 1986, it was the world's first wok thathad a cut bottom so that it could sit not only on an open fire, but also on an electric stove. Ken Hom Wok pans were also a first in that they began to be sold in mainstream high street stores, not just speciality shops. For example, 12 years later, 10% of UK households already had a Ken Hom product. To date, more than 8 million Ken Hom products have been sold in 59 countries around the world.
Ken's collaboration to produce the pans with DKB Household, a subsidiary of SwissThe company, a subsidiary of the Diethelm Keller Group, has been in continuous operation for over 30 years, since the year the first pan was launched. This worldwide holding company is managed by the fourth generation of the founding family and is a world leader in the houseware market.
Of course, Ken Hom uses the wok pans bearing his name and also personally tests each of "his" new products very carefully before they are launched. He knows very well how important it is to work with good quality cookware and accessories when stir-frying , as this will also affect the taste of the food. That is why the pans and other accessories bearing his name Ken Hom never disappoint their users.
