Emile Henry deep fruit and vegetable storage bowl 4,7 l, truffle

The bowl is made from purely natural materials and is designed to store fresh fruit and vegetables exactly where you need them close at hand, whether it's on the kitchen counter or on the dining room table or bar counter. The top is made from the finest cork, sourced from Portuguese oak trees, and is designed for preserving and displaying fruit. The cork naturally wicks away excess moisture, which often accelerates the decay process, is soft so it does not crush the fruit, and its specific scent repels pesky vinegar beetles and other small flying insects.

In contrast, the bottom part is ceramic, glazed on both sides and, thanks to its surface and 3 ventilation holes, it is adapted for storing the vegetables you use most often, yet it is not advisable to keep it in the fridge. The ceramic part, covered with a cork lid, offers a hidden space for the eyes to store potatoes, onions, beetroot or carrots, in short, the vegetables you need to prepare a varied meal almost every day. Three small holes in the bottom of the bowl provide just the right amount of ventilation. Thanks to the combination of two natural materials - cork and ceramic - the conditions inside the bowl are similar to those in a cellar. The medium-sized but fairly deep bowl can be placed exactly where you need it, because whether it is on the kitchen counter or on the dining table, it will always be an attractive addition. What's more, it's very easy to maintain - the ceramic part can be washed in the dishwasher, while the cork part can be wiped clean with a wet cloth.

- Dimensions: 27 x 18.5 cm high
- Volume: 4,7 l
- Weight: 2,23 kg
- Easy to clean - the lower bowl with perfectly smooth glaze is dishwasher safe, the upper cork tray can be wiped clean with a wet cloth
