Can the Explorer bottle be washed in the dishwasher?
No, this bottle should not be washed in the dishwasher. While it will not damage the stainless steel construction, if water gets inside the double wall, it can shorten the life of the vacuum insulation. Only wash it by hand and do not immerse it completely in water for the same reason.

Are there any things I should watch out for with this bottle?
It is not intended for use with baby food or dairy products. Be careful when opening it if it is filled with hot liquids and keep it out of the reach of children. Take care not to keep perishable drinks (which may soon expire) inside for long periods of time. Make sure that the silicone seal is correctly positioned in the lid to make it completely leak-proof.
